Very good post. The fall is a perfect picnic spot with unexplored walking trails around the area. Recently, a hanging bridge has been laid across the gorge adding to the beauty of the place. The explorer in you will be really delighted to know about the unexplored and untrodden area around the falls. To reach the falls, one has to take a 500 m downhill walk from the end of the road. The area around this fall is rich with coffee bushes and wild vines and creepers. The best time to visit Abbey Falls is during the monsoons. Explore all best places to visit in Coorg also.
